You’re Losing Business If Your Website Doesn’t Have These 3 Things

Zach RinardMarketing, Websites

It’s true.

These are the three most important messages to add to your website. If you are not clearly communicating these 3 messages, then you are losing business.

So here are the 3 questions every visitor wants answered when they visit your website.

  1. What do you offer? This should be as clear as possible. In 5 seconds, a person should be able to glance at your website and understand exactly what you do. Storybrand calls this the grunt test. We recommend using a large headline that says something along the lines of “Custom and Worry-free Websites with No Up-front cost”
  2. How does it make my life better? Again, be crazy clear. “You will not have to worry about your website any more. This means more time doing the things you love.”
  3. What do I need to do to buy it? You need to have a clear call-to-action button giving simple instruction. “Call Today” and “Free Consultation” are great examples of providing clear instruction. Try to avoid generic call-to-actions like “Contact” or “Let’s Talk”.

There you have it. Make sure your website has these 3 messages clearly answered above the fold and you will be well on your way to success. If you are wanting help with this process and are feeling stressed-out about making the changes, contact us today.
